Well hello! 
It has been a while hasn't it. I thought I would give you an update on Calico Canyon.
I have been making a lot of changes lately, mostly my sub structure so that it will last years. I don't think I have posted any pictures of the whole thing, mostly because there was too much stuff on it, so today I did some cleaning and took some pictures of it. Some pics will be captioned of what I plan on doing to it.
The black paint is called "Black 3.0" by Culture Hustle. It absorbs 99% of visible light with a couple of coats, there's only one coat here and it works great cutting out reflective light and gives the caverns more depth.
I purchased a RGB strip and mounted them though out the cavern section. Its fun to change out the color to produce different effects like this green. Makes it a little spooky.
This is the section that has a water fall, though its difficult to see with the light setting. This is what i call the fish tank setting. LOL
What's cool is when i turn out all the lights and just let the head light of the locomotive light up the tunnel section of the caverns. Below is another perspective.
